Oar work!

After rowing Saturday morning, we got to work on panting the new oars!? We sanded them down and got the initial coat of paint on there, so that is a good start.? Hope to have them ready for practice in a week or two!

Head of the Hooch!

LGRC had a nice presence at the Head of the Hooch Regatta in Chattanooga, TN on November 6th!  We had both juniors and mixed masters rowing, and it was a great experience for everyone who participated.  We are definitely showing signs of progress and that is highly encouraging! Thanks to all who made the trip!

Mixed Masters before the race!
